[05:23] <snover> (non sequitur) last year around GSoC we had talked briefly a little bit about possibly making some changes to the main web site layout, are you guys still open to that? Mataniko and I have been talking about this a bit, and dont want to spend a bunch of time if its an automatic no-go for some reason. i assume its fine, and, i want to make sure to do a quick ask before starting to work on some more concrete ideas.
[05:38] <bgK> I'm fine with some website changes, as long as it keeps visual distinctiveness from $css_framework_of_the_day_default_theme

[17:52] <rsn8887> snover: The other two option are: display in original resolution without scaling (with black borders and 1:1 game to screen pixel mapping), and stretch to full screen (16:9 aspect).
[17:55] <rsn8887> snover: Historically the radio buttons for fullscreen and AR are ignored in the PSP graphics manager. I think this might be for speed, because the PSP precalculates scaling ratios once when the graphicsmode changes, and that's it. I think this should be fixed and the radio buttons should be used instead of two extra graphics modes.
[17:59] <rsn8887> snover: NEvermind it looks like I can just use ConfMan to read the state of the radio buttons to select the graphics mode.

[22:08] <Calchan> Joefish: I believe these are DOSBOX material
[22:09] <Mataniko> they're more RPG and less point-n-clicky

[22:09] <snover> or put another way, i dont see any reason why they shouldnt.

[22:11] <Strangerke> yep... not real 3D
[22:11] <Strangerke> don't you prefer Ultima Underworld? :)
[22:13] <Joefish> I'm just wondering where the limits of what ScummVM wants to cover are especially since it also took RPGs under its wing.
[22:14] <Strangerke> I reached my own limit with Plumbers :)
[22:14] <Joefish> :D
[22:14] <snover> from my perspective i think you should just ask about anything and it can be decided case-by-case
[22:14] <Joefish> that pushed everyone to its limit to be fair but also provides a great minimal engine :)
[22:14] <Mataniko> wouldn't it be more about if someone is willing to reimplement the engine?
[22:15] <Joefish> and stick with it for support
[22:15] <Mataniko> snover: I just pushed a bunch of commits to the PR that put us much closer
[22:15] <Strangerke> Mataniko: well, obviously. But if someone was holding a port of, let's say, Titus the Fox, I'm not sure it would be accepted
[22:15] <snover> why shouldnt it be?
[22:15] <Strangerke> Mataniko: (we had the case)
[22:16] <Strangerke> snover: I agree that. But if we discuss about that on the mailing list, there'll be an instant flame war :)
