[22:03] <m_kiewitz> there was also a really bad bug in Conquests of the Longbow, where one script overwrote a few bytes of a look up table. And by accident that somewhat worked in original SCI
[22:03] <m_kiewitz> but caused signature errors down the line in ScummVM, because well the look up table got corrupted
[22:04] <m_kiewitz> we also check for tons of things. Sierra didn't. Still really weird

[22:07] <sluicebox> I tried my save game on latest build too, since it didn't look like much had changed in sci code since last week, with same result

[22:08] <sluicebox> I think I completed all the things I could possibly complete before triggering the day 4 end, maybe i overachieved it into a state they don't handle well
[22:09] <sluicebox> the scene plays out okay, and it doesn't mess up inventory or points, just has the extra stuff

[22:09] <m_kiewitz> it would be great if you could try to do exactly those things in dosbox
[22:10] <m_kiewitz> maybe you could even play in ScummVM + dosbox at the same time and do the exact same things
