[19:33] <ashutosh97> i restarted the msys2 shell and typed the command pacman -S mingw-w64-x86_64-gcc , which re-installed gcc!

[19:45] <criezy> On my desktop computer it takes ~1 min with all engines enabled. On my laptop it takes about 30 minutes.

[19:50] <criezy> Which might be explained by the fact I never used msys2, never used arch linux, and that every Linux distro seem to use a different package manager.

[22:24] <Joefish> hey. I'm currently messing with the theme/font system and realized that the fontmanager does not reset its buffered fonts when switching themes. That causes e.g. the builtin theme to render let's say Russian although iso8859-5 is not supported. This again resets the language to english ("C") when restarting scummvm as it tries to load "builtin theme" and "Russian", scans builtin fonts and cannot find

[22:51] <Joefish> criezy: alright :) It just confused me alot when I debugged theme/language compatibility. Decided to step through all of it and found that FontManager keeps them cached until shutdown. guess I'll open up another PR for it

Currently in my build the settings are reset to the previous state if an error occurs. So when changing language and theme both are reset even if theme and old language were compatible
