Of all the packages, last time I tried building a VS library for it, I spent half a day, and even then still couldn't get it to correctly compile. So it was easier to simply disable fluidsynth in the generated VS project files, as you already noticed

From what I remember it didn't have a Visual Studio package included, and when I tried to create it and compile, I had to do lots of shifting around to try and get a structure where the includes all worked, and then there were lots of compiler errors for various places in the code. I kept trying to massage everything, but eventually grew frustrated and gave up on it
